Role: Generator Fitter 
Location: Ashby-de-la-Zouch
Salary: £40,000 - £43,000 
Job type: 7:00am – 4:30pm -Monday – Friday

The Role
You will be responsible for the service, maintenance, and repair of a fleet of generators, ensuring maximum availability for hire. 
Key responsibilities include:

- Service, maintenance, and repair of diesel generators
- Fault finding across mechanical and electrical systems
- Carrying out routine inspections and preventative maintenance
- Preparing generators and associated equipment for hire
- Supporting installation and commissioning of generators on-site where required
- Completing service reports and maintaining accurate records
- Ensuring all work is completed in line with Health & Safety procedures

About You

- Experience working on generators or similar plant equipment
- Strong fault-finding ability (mechanical & electrical)
- Experience servicing generators up to 100–120 kVA
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Full UK driving licence

This role is physically demanding and involves working outdoors, so you should be comfortable working in varying weather conditions.
