We are looking for a passionate and committed Qualified Nursery Practitioner to join a welcoming and inclusive early years setting in Southwark.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Early Years Practitioner or Nursery Practitioner who enjoys supporting young children's development through creative, play-based learning.

This full-time Nursery Practitioner role is based in a nurturing environment for children aged 2-5 years, with a strong focus on communication, social skills, early literacy, and creativity.

Key Responsibilities - Qualified Nursery Practitioner

As a Qualified Nursery Practitioner, you will:

• Support children's development through engaging, play-based learning activities


• Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment


• Monitor, observe, and record children's progress and development


• Support children's communication, social, and emotional skills


• Work closely with colleagues and parents to meet each child's individual needs


• Maintain high standards of safeguarding and welfare


• Contribute positively to the nursery team and daily routines

Requirements - What We Are Looking For

Essential Criteria

• Relevant Early Years qualification (Level 2 or Level 3 or above)


• Previous experience working as a Nursery Practitioner, Early Years Practitioner, or similar role


• Good knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)


• Strong communication and teamwork skills


• Passion for supporting children's development and wellbeing


• Enhanced DBS Certificate on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)


• Right to work in the UK
