Production Engineer

We are partnered with a global engineering business in Chelmsford, Essex, developing advanced electronic systems used across aerospace, medical, and industrial applications.

As production demand continues to grow, they are looking for a Production Engineer to support manufacturing, improve processes, and help transition new designs into stable, repeatable production.

In this Production Engineer role, you will:

• Support manufacturing and test activities, resolving technical issues on the line


• Carry out fault finding and root cause analysis to improve product performance


• Drive practical improvements to processes, cost, and manufacturability


• Support new product introduction, making sure designs are ready for efficient, scalable build

The ideal Production Engineer will have:

• Experience supporting manufacturing in an electromechanical or electronics environment


• A hands-on approach to problem solving, with strong fault-finding skills


• Understanding of manufacturing processes and design for manufacture principles


• An engineering degree or equivalent industry experience
