We are looking for an experienced bar manager able to demonstrate a successful job history to manage a busy town center bar.  You will be responsible for motivating your team to provide a fantastic level of customer experience while ensuring the establishment is run as smoothly and profitably as possible.

Main duties and responsibilities include:

• Leading your team by example, pitching in to pour a drink or collect glasses as necessary
• Ensuring front-of-house is fully staffed, particularly during peak times
• Meeting sales and profitability targets
• Creating a welcoming environment for customers
• Ensuring consistent, high quality beverages are served to customers
• Dealing with customer feedback and providing adequate solutions to complaints
• Create a positive working environment for staff and encouraging their career development
• Monitoring inventory to ensure adequate stock
• Overseeing the cleanliness of staff and the physical bar area
• Paying attention to possible health hazards and regulation violations

Essential abilities and skills:

• Leadership ability to drive and develop a team
• Understanding processes and management principles in running a bar
• Able to work under pressure
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Proven experience in event catering and bar management
