Salary: £30,000 – £34,000 + Overtime Opportunities
Location: Saltley, Birmingham
Hours: Monday to Friday – Days

About the Role

I’m recruiting on behalf of a leading equipment hire company for an experienced Small Tool Fitter.

You’ll be responsible for the service, maintenance, and repair of small tools, 2/4 stroke engines, and light equipment.

It’s an excellent opportunity for someone with strong mechanical skills who enjoys working independently and delivering high-quality work.

Key Responsibilities

- Service, repair, and maintain small tools.
- Diagnose and repair faults on 2/4 stroke engines and mechanical systems
- Carry out inspections and ensure all equipment is safe and ready for hire
- Maintain safety, compliance, and service standards
- Provide great customer service on-site

About You

- Previous experience as a Small Tool Fitter, Plant Fitter, or Maintenance Technician
- Mechanical knowledge of 2/4 stroke engines and small plant machinery
- Able to diagnose and repair faults independently
- Self-motivated, reliable, and organised

What’s on Offer

- £30,000 – £34,000 per year (DOE)
- Overtime opportunities at enhanced rates
- Monday–Friday, days only
