A well-established engineering company in Wolverhampton is looking to hire a Mechanical Fitter to support ongoing growth within the business.

This permanent Mechanical Fitter opportunity offers stable day shifts, no weekend work, paid overtime at 150%, and long-term career progression.

The Mechanical Fitter role involves assembling and fitting mechanical and hydraulic components onto specialist vehicles and equipment within a modern workshop environment.

Full training and tools are provided.

What's on offer for the Mechanical Fitter:

• £30,000 - £35,000 DOE


• Monday to Friday days (Half day Friday)


• Overtime paid at enhanced rates

Suitable mechanical fitter applicants may have:

• Experience working on vehicles, machinery, plant equipment or mechanical systems


• Previous assembly, fitting or production experience


• Good hands-on skills and confidence using tools


• An interest in engineering and manufacturing


• A positive, reliable and eager-to-learn attitude
