Healthcare Assistant - Complex Needs Residential Service

Our client is a leading care provider in the South West, delivering high-quality residential and community-based support services to adults with learning disabilities and complex needs.

They are seeking a dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join their specialist residential service in Castle Cary, Somerset.


The Role

This is a permanent, full-time position working 37.5 hours per week on a rota basis.

This is a days-only role with a mixture of early and late shifts:



  • Early Shift: 7:30am - 2:00pm

  • Late Shift: 2:30pm - 10:00pm


Salary & Benefits

  • £27,700 - £28,700 per annum

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:



  • Previous experience within social care, ideally supporting adults with learning disabilities, autism, mental health needs, or complex behaviours

  • The flexibility to work shifts, including weekends, bank holidays, and evenings until 10pm

  • Resilience and confidence working in a challenging yet highly rewarding environment

  • A clear DBS check and satisfactory employment references

  • A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle

  • Full UK Right to Work (no sponsorship available)
