General Manager

Location: South West London

Salary: Up to £60,000 inclusive of TRONC

A much-loved neighbourhood restaurant in South West London is looking for a General Manager to take full ownership of the business.

This is a premium, food-led operation with a loyal local following and a reputation for warm hospitality, quality food and genuine service.

The restaurant is busy year-round, with the summer months bringing a significant uplift in trade, making this a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious operator who enjoys being at the heart of the action.

The Role:

• Full responsibility for the day-to-day running of the restaurant
• Lead, inspire and develop a high-performing management and front-line team
• Drive guest satisfaction and maintain exceptional service standards
• Take ownership of financial performance, including labour, costs and profitability
• Build on the restaurant's strong reputation and drive positive guest feedback across review platforms
• Work closely with the ownership team to identify opportunities for growth and continuous improvement
• Be highly visible on the floor, leading from the front and setting the tone for the business
  Oversee recruitment, training and succession planning within the team

The Person:

• Current General Manager or experienced AGM ready to step into a larger role
• Background within premium restaurants, hospitality-led businesses or quality food-led operations
• Passionate about delivering exceptional guest experiences
• Strong commercial understanding with experience managing budgets and driving profitability
• Excellent people leader with a track record of developing and retaining teams
• Good food and wine knowledge with a genuine interest in hospitality
• Hands-on, energetic and comfortable operating in a busy environment
• Polished, professional and highly organised
