We are recruiting for Residential Support Workers to join a growing children's care provider with residential homes based in Crediton and Exeter.

Successful candidates will be assigned to one of the homes and must be able to reliably commute to their chosen location.

What's on Offer?


  • £28,000 per anum




  • 40-hour permanent contract




  • £70 per sleep-in (typically 1-2 per week)




  • Realistic earnings of £31,720 plus including sleep-ins

Shift Pattern


  • Typical shifts: 7:30am - 10:00pm




  • Generally working around 3 days per week




  • Sleep-in duties required as part of the role




Key Responsibilities


  • Support young people with daily routines, education, and activities




  • Build positive and trusting relationships




  • Maintain accurate records and reports




  • Work in partnership with colleagues, families, and external professionals




  • Safeguard and promote the welfare of children at all times




Requirements


  • Previous experience working with children and young people is desirable




  • Ability to work shifts, including sleep-ins




  • Full UK Driving Licence (Essential)




  • Must be able to commute to either Crediton or Exeter
