Support Worker

My client is looking to hire permanent Children Support Workers for their children's homes based in Exeter, Tiverton, Dartington, Crediton and Barnstaple.
This role is working in a residential children's home which offers a safe, nurturing and therapeutic environment for young people who have either suffered early childhood trauma from abuse, neglect or exploitation or require additional support due to learning disabilities and complex needs.
Benefits for the Support Worker includes:
- Starting salary of £31,600 (£28,080 plus £3,600 sleep ins)
- Full-time contract - 40 Hours

If you are a graduate with a degree or qualification in any of the below, have a driving license and vehicle plus can commit to a shift pattern including mornings, evenings and sleep ins
- Psychology or psychotherapy, counselling, childhood trauma
- Behaviour analysis or childcare
- Sociology or criminology
- Teaching or SEN Education
Or if you have work experience with
- SEN Education, Summer Camps or Children's Clubs for additional needs
- Youth Work or Young People Support
- Custodial, Young Offenders or Youth Justice
- Care Leavers, Counselling, Therapy or Young People's Mental Health
