Children with Disabilities Team Manager
A Local Authority is looking for a Qualified Team Manager for their Children with Disabilities service in Merseyside.
This is a permanent and full-time position that is hybrid working.
You must have a Diploma/Degree in Social Work and have the right to work in the UK (no VISA sponsorship available)

About the job
- Lead and manage services for children and young people with disabilities and their families.
- Supervise, support, and develop social workers and multidisciplinary staff.
- Oversee assessments, care planning, and the delivery of support services.
- Ensure children receive appropriate services, resources, and interventions to meet their needs.
- Manage complex cases involving safeguarding, disability, health, education, and family support.
- Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, policies, and statutory duties.
- Coordinate effective multi-agency working with health, education, and partner organisations.
- Monitor service quality, performance, and outcomes for children and families.
- Manage team workloads, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Chair or contribute to reviews, planning meetings, and case conferences.
- Promote inclusion, equality, and the rights of children with disabilities.
- Respond to complaints, concerns, and service issues appropriately.
- Lead service improvement initiatives and support continuous professional development.
- Ensure the voice, wishes, and best interests of children and young people are central to decision-making.
About you
The successful candidate will have a social work degree with post qualification management experience in Children's Social Work
