Manager - Northeast Region
JOB DESCRIPTION
Primarily responsible for the overall administration, operational performance, and business support functions for a highly complex and high-volume sales region.
Serves as a strategic partner to Sales Leadership while ensuring operational excellence, compliance, customer service, and financial performance within the assigned region.
In addition to regional responsibilities, contributes to departmental effectiveness through process improvement, project leadership, organizational development, and subject matter expertise across the Sales Administration function.
Essential Functions
Regional Leadership & Operations
- Accountable for operational performance within a high-volume, highly complex sales region.
- Ensures accuracy, timeliness, and quality across all Sales Administration activities.
- Monitors key performance metrics and implements actions to improve operational and financial results.
- Serves as the primary administrative business partner to Regional Sales Leadership.
Team Development & Leadership
- Provides leadership, direction, coaching, performance management, and development for a cross-functional team of Regional Sales Administration personnel.
Responsible for staffing, employee development, succession planning, and the effective day-to-day operation of the assigned region while fostering accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Process Improvement & Department Leadership
- Serves as a departmental leader beyond assigned regional responsibilities by helping establish best practices, supporting organizational initiatives, and driving departmental consistency.
- Leads process improvement initiatives, system implementations, and strategic projects that improve efficiency, compliance, customer experience, and business performance across the Sales Administration function.
Subject Matter Expertise
- Serves as a senior escalation point for complex operational, financial, customer, and organizational issues requiring advanced business judgment.
- Partners with Sales Administration, Regional, and Corporate leadership to evaluate risks, develop solutions, and resolve matters with significant business impact or organizational complexity.
Leadership Support
- Acts as a trusted advisor and representative of departmental leadership, providing leadership support and representing departmental interests when assigned.
- Supports Organizational change initiatives and special projects that advance departmental and corporate objectives.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
Equivalent combinations of education, leadership experience, and demonstrated business performance may be considered. - 7+ years of progressively responsible experience in Sales Administration, Customer Service, Operations, or related business functions.
- Minimum 3 years of leadership experience with demonstrated success managing complex operational environments.
- Demonstrated ability to manage high-volume workloads while maintaining accuracy, service, compliance, and business performance.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to evaluate operational, financial, customer, and organizational impacts of business decisions and make sound recommendations.
- Demonstrated ability to independently resolve complex operational, customer, financial, and organizational issues using sound judgment and critical thinking.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and applicable business systems.
Preferred Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, or related field.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional projects and influence outcomes across multiple stakeholder groups.
- Demonstrated success mentoring and developing team members.
- Experience leading process improvement, system implementation, organizational change, or strategic business initiatives.
Physical Requirements
- This position requires minimal physical activity but does require computer usage for an extended period - up to 8 hours a day.
- No unusual environmental, lifting or exertion requirements are associated with this position.
Benefits and Compensation
The pay range for applicants in this position generally ranges between $90,000 and $100,000.
The range is an estimate based on potential employee qualification operations, needs, and other considerations permitted by law.
