Quantity Surveyor / Estimator

A structural steel specialist is currently looking for a permanent Quantity Surveyor / Estimator to prepare accurate cost estimates, manage project budgets, and support commercial delivery from tender stage through to final account, in Co.

Kildare.

Start Date: Immediate
Salary: €60,000 - €70,000 per annum (DOE)
Contract: Permanent

Duties:

• Prepare detailed cost estimates and tender submissions for structural steel projects


• Analyse drawings, specifications, and tender documents to determine scope and pricing


• Source and evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotations


• Prepare bills of quantities and cost plans


• Monitor project costs and variations during the construction phase


• Assist in contract administration and final account preparation

Requirements:

• Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Economics or related discipline


• Experience in structural steel fabrication or construction sector preferred


• Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Excel


• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
