We are looking for a Supervising Social Worker to join a Fostering Service for an Independent Fostering Agency.

This role requires a Social Work Qualification with a minimum of 2 years post qualified experience.

About the team:

The Supervising Social Worker will work within an Independent Fostering Agency, supporting foster carers, children and young people to ensure safe, stable and positive placements are maintained.

The team works closely with foster families, birth families, professionals and external agencies to complete assessments, provide supervision and support, monitor placement stability and promote positive outcomes for children in care.

This is a varied role suited to a confident Children's Social Worker with strong safeguarding knowledge and experience within fostering or looked after children services.

About you:

A degree within Social Work (Degree/DipSW/CQSW) with a minimum of 2-year experience is essential to be considered for this role.

Experience working in a Fostering Service lends well to the success of this position.
