HGV Class 1 Driver / Yard Person

Location: Avonmouth
Salary: £30000 per annum
Hours: Monday to Friday – 8am to 5pm

We are currently recruiting for an experienced HGV Class 1 Driver / Yard Person to join a well-established commercial vehicle dealership with multiple depots across the UK.

The Role – HGV Class 1 Driver / Yard Person Key responsibilities will include:

- Organising and controlling vehicle movements within the yard
- Presenting vehicles for MOT
- Collection and delivery of trailers
- Cleaning and preparing vehicles
- Maintaining general workshop and yard housekeeping
- Assisting with other ad hoc yard and depot duties

HGV Class 1 Driver / Yard Person Requirements

- Previous experience working as an HGV Driver/ Yard Person
- Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) driving licence – essential
- Ideally hold a relevant NVQ Level 3 qualification or equivalent
- Must have own tools
- Reliable, organised, and able to work both independently and as part of a team
