Position Summary



The Director of Admixture Operations & Logistics is responsible for overseeing all aspects of admixture manufacturing operations, inventory management, warehousing, transportation, and customer delivery performance.

This position ensures the safe, efficient, and cost-effective production and distribution of admixture products while maintaining compliance with quality standards, environmental regulations, and company policies.


The role partners closely with Sales, Customer Service, Procurement, Supply Chain, Quality, and Finance teams to optimize inventory levels, improve operational efficiency, and deliver exceptional service to customers throughout the region.



Key Responsibilities




Operations Management



  • Lead daily operations of admixture production facilities, terminals, and warehouses.

  • Ensure production schedules align with customer demand forecasts and inventory requirements.

  • Monitor plant performance, productivity, and equipment utilization.

  • Develop and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and reduce costs.

  • Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to safety, quality, production, and service.



Logistics & Transportation



  • Manage inbound raw material and outbound finished goods transportation.

  • Coordinate shipments using company and third-party carriers.

  • Optimize routing, freight spending, and delivery schedules to improve customer service and minimize costs.

  • Ensure on-time delivery performance and maintain strong relationships with transportation providers.

  • Monitor transportation metrics and implement corrective actions when required.



Inventory & Supply Chain Management



  • Maintain accurate inventory levels of raw materials and finished products.

  • Collaborate with procurement and suppliers to ensure material availability.

  • Develop inventory control procedures to minimize stockouts and excess inventory.

  • Conduct regular inventory audits and cycle counts.

  • Support demand planning and forecasting activities.



Safety, Quality & Compliance



  • Promote a culture of safety and ensure compliance with OSHA, DOT, EPA, and company safety standards.

  • Lead incident investigations and corrective action initiatives.

  • Ensure all products meet quality specifications and customer requirements.

  • Maintain compliance with environmental permits and regulatory requirements.

  • Support ISO and other quality management system requirements.



Team Leadership



  • Recruit, develop, and manage operations, warehouse, and logistics personnel.

  • Establish performance goals and conduct regular performance evaluations.

  • Provide coaching, training, and career development opportunities.

  • Foster a high-performance culture focused on accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.



Customer Service & Cross-Functional Collaboration



  • Work closely with Sales and Customer Service teams to support customer needs and resolve delivery issues.

  • Participate in supply chain planning meetings and strategic business reviews.

  • Communicate proactively regarding inventory constraints, transportation challenges, and operational risks.

  • Support major customer projects and key account initiatives.



Qualifications Required



  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations Management, Engineering, Business, or related field.

  • 5-10 years of experience in manufacturing, logistics, supply chain, or operations management.

  • Minimum of 3 years of leadership experience managing operations or logistics teams.

  • Strong knowledge of transportation, warehousing, inventory management, and production planning.

  • Proficiency with ERP systems, inventory management tools, and Microsoft Office applications.

  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

Salary: $110,000 annually
