We are looking for a Nursery Deputy Manager/SENCO to support our client's nursery in Whitchurch.

Our client is a community-based setting surrounded by beautiful countryside.

With both a parent committee and a tight-knit internal team, the setting constantly ensures that it adapts where needed and that children's needs are met

Our client is looking for a pro-active Deputy Manager/SENCO to support term-time only.

The Role:

As the Deputy, you will support the Manager in the overseeing of the day-to-day running of the nursery.

You will maintain the high standards of the nursery, delivering quality care in line with the EYFS framework.

You will provide strong leadership and inspiration to a dedicated team to promote further growth and development.

As the SENCO, you will also ensure that SEN children's needs are supported and encourage their progress.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the daily operations of the nursery


• Oversee and support a wonderful team of Early Years Professionals


• Ensure the highest standards of care, safety, and education


• Evaluate and improve practices and procedures


• Oversee curriculum planning and the tracking of children's development


• Build strong relationships with children, parents, and staff

About You:

• Minimum Level 3 Early Years Qualification (essential)


• Experience as a Deputy Manager is desirable (Third-in-Charge experience may be considered)


• Experience as a SENCO is desirable


• Expert knowledge of Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Framework


• Excellent communicator


• Highly organised with strong interpersonal skills

What's on Offer:

• £14.40 per hour PAYE


• Working hours of 08:45 - 15:15 throughout term-time


• Immediate start available
