Social Media Manager – Hospitality Business

Salary: £50,000–£60,000

Do you know about the latest restaurant openings, understand what makes a food brand stand out and instinctively know what will create a buzz on social? We’re looking for a talented Social Media Manager to join an exciting hospitality business and take ownership of the social strategy across the brand.

This isn’t a role that’s simply about posting content.

We’re looking for someone who understands how to tell stories through food and culture, creating a social presence that feels relevant, distinctive and engaging.

What you’ll be doing:

• Developing and owning the social media strategy
• Managing photographers, videographers to deliver the right content
• Creating briefs and ensuring content aligns with the wider brand strategy
• Writing engaging, personality-led copy
• Finding interesting ways to tell stories through food, people, places and culture
• Keeping ahead of restaurant openings, food trends and wider cultural conversations
• Creating content around new openings, launches, chefs, dishes, experiences and cultural moments
• Using insights and performance data to understand what is resonating with the audience
• Balancing creativity with commercial thinking
• Continually evolving the social strategy based on performance, trends and audience behaviour

About You:

• Strong social media experience within food, restaurants, hospitality, lifestyle
• A genuine passion and strong understanding of food and restaurants
• Excellent copywriting and storytelling skills
• A strong visual eye and understanding of how to build and curate a social feed
• The ability to develop a strategy, not simply execute one
• Strong analytical skills and an understanding of social performance
• A natural balance of creativity and strategic thinking
• Experience managing multiple brands or different brand identities would be a bonus
