Assistant General Manager – High Volume Bar - London - £64,000 + Bonus

We’re looking for an ambitious Assistant General Manager to join a high-volume, fast-paced London hospitality venue.

This is a senior operational role for someone already performing at a strong AGM level and genuinely ready to become a General Manager in the near future.

You’ll work closely with an experienced leadership team, taking ownership of the day-to-day operation while developing the commercial and leadership skills required to run your own site.

The role:

• Lead, motivate and develop a large front-of-house team
• Take responsibility for service standards and the guest experience
• Support with sales, labour, stock control and overall profitability
• Recruit, train and retain an engaged, high-performing team
• Confidently lead the venue in the General Manager’s absence
• Help drive the business forward through energy, ideas and strong commercial awareness

About you:

• Currently an experienced Assistant General Manager in a busy, high-volume venue
• Comfortable managing large teams and significant weekly sales
• Commercially strong, with a clear understanding of P&L and cost control
• A visible, hands-on leader who thrives in a lively environment
• Ambitious, driven and ready to step into a General Manager role soon

This is not a role for someone looking to remain an AGM long term.
