About the role and school
Are you an enthusiastic and committed Primary Teacher (KS1) looking for a new opportunity in Southall, Ealing? Teach Plus are working with a welcoming and inclusive primary school seeking a dedicated Primary Teacher (KS1) to join their team from the October half-term.
This full-time role will involve taking full classroom responsibility for a Year 1 class, providing an excellent opportunity for an experienced Primary Teacher (KS1) to make a positive impact on pupils' learning, development and progress.
The school is a well-established primary school serving a diverse local community in Southall, Ealing.

The successful Primary Teacher (KS1) will be able to establish positive relationships quickly, maintain high expectations for behaviour and learning, and work collaboratively with colleagues and families.

Job Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons across the Year 1 curriculum, ensuring all pupils are supported and challenged appropriately.
- Establish a positive and inclusive classroom environment with high expectations for behaviour, learning and pupil progress.
- Assess, monitor and track pupil progress, using assessment information to inform future planning and targeted support.
- Develop strong relationships with pupils, parents, carers and colleagues to support pupils' academic, social and emotional development.
- Work collaboratively with the wider school team to contribute to curriculum development, school improvement and enrichment opportunities.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure all safeguarding, assessment and professional responsibilities are completed to a high standard.
Qualifications/Experience
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant qualification
- Experience as a Primary Teacher (KS1) or in a similar role
- Strong subject/curriculum knowledge relevant to the role
- Enhanced DBS Certificate with the Update Service
- Right to work in the UK
