FPGA Engineer

We are partnered with a globally recognised audio technology organisation behind professional products used by musicians, producers, engineers, venues and touring professionals around the world.

They are looking for an FPGA Engineer in Manchester with a passion for audio and digital technology to contribute to the development of innovative professional audio products.

This is an opportunity to work on complex digital hardware, real-time processing and technology that shapes how audio is created, processed and delivered worldwide.

In this FPGA Engineer role in Manchester, you will:

• Design, develop and verify FPGA-based digital systems for professional audio applications


• Implement and optimise real-time signal processing architectures in programmable logic


• Work across hardware, firmware and software teams to integrate FPGA technology into audio products


• Contribute to system-level design, performance optimisation, testing and debugging


• Explore new technologies and approaches to enhance product performance and functionality

The ideal FPGA Engineer will have:

• Experience in FPGA development, digital hardware design or a related engineering discipline


• Knowledge of digital logic design, real-time systems and signal processing architectures


• Experience with relevant hardware description languages such as VHDL or Verilog


• An understanding of embedded systems, hardware and software integration or digital audio


• A genuine passion for audio technology, music or professional sound products
