JOB DESCRIPTION



Euclid Chemical is currently seeking an Automation and Technical Support Technician to be responsible for managing and troubleshooting PC hardware/software, supporting dispensing equipment systems, providing remote and on-site training, and handling warehouse duties.

This role requires technical knowledge in Windows PCs, industrial automation, and mechanical systems, along with strong problem-solving and communication skills.



Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Manage, troubleshoot, and maintain PC hardware, software, and licensing.


• Maintain system documentation, specifications, and technical drawings.


• Provide remote technical support via phone and online tools.


• Train field technicians and customers on system installation, operation, and troubleshooting.


• Assist with automation, electrical, pneumatic, and control-system diagnostics.


• Support General Assembly, Inventory and Logistic activities as needed.


• Collaborate with management and cross-functional teams.

• High School Diploma or GED.
  
  
  • Additional certificate training in the areas of responsibility a plus.
    
    


• Windows based PCs & Networks knowledge, or experience.


• Industrial automation, electrical, and pneumatic knowledge, or experience.


• Hand, power, and measuring tools knowledge, or experience.


• Mechanical knowledge, or experience.


• Ability to read and comprehend written instructions and technical language normally found in equipment manuals.
  

• Sitting, Standing, Walking, Lifting, Carrying, Pushing, Pulling, Reaching (Various Heights), Keyboarding, Gross & Fine Manipulation, Driving, Stooping, Crouching, Kneeling, Crawling, Climbing (Ladders, Ramps, Stairs)

• $25-30 per hour (determined by education and experience)
