We are currently URGENTLY seeking an Interim Head of Configuration Management to join our Watford based client for an exciting contract assignment.

In this role, you will be responsible for defining and leading the configuration management function, ensuring robust control of product data, change management processes and configuration governance across multiple programmes.

The Interim Head of Configuration Management will work closely with engineering, project management, quality, manufacturing and supply chain teams to ensure configuration integrity is maintained throughout the product lifecycle.

You will also be responsible for driving continuous improvement, implementing best practices and ensuring compliance with industry and customer standards.

The ideal Watford based Interim Head of Configuration Management will have experience which includes:

• Proven experience leading a Configuration Management function within a complex engineering, defence, aerospace or manufacturing environment


• Strong knowledge of configuration identification, change control, status accounting and configuration audits


• Experience managing configuration management teams and influencing senior stakeholders


• Demonstrable experience implementing and improving configuration management policies, processes and governance frameworks


• Knowledge of relevant industry standards and regulatory requirements


• Experience with PLM, ERP and configuration management tools

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Interim Head of Configuration Management to play a pivotal role in supporting critical programmes and delivering effective configuration control across the organisation.

This role will not accept candidates operating via a PSC; you will therefore need to operate via an Umbrella company.
