Essential Duties:

• Lead and mentor a team of quality professionals


• Effectively communicate in a team-based environment


• Conduct training sessions for employees on quality standards, best practices, and continuous improvement methodologies


• Work with cross-functional teams such as production, engineering, and procurement to integrate quality standards throughout the product lifecycle


• Develop and maintain KPI's to determine failure trends and corrective actions as needed


• Maintain documentation and oversee audits


• Ensure regulatory compliance of equipment and processes


• Conduct inspections, testing, and audits to identify defects and implement corrective and preventive actions


• Investigate customer complaints, implement corrective actions, and ensure customer satisfaction


• Analyze quality data to identify trends and areas for improvement


• Implement solutions to enhance product and process quality


• Performs other related duties as assigned

• Bachelor's degree in Quality Management, Engineering or related field required


• 10 years of progressive Quality department role experience


• 5 years of Quality Management experience


• 5 years of leadership experience


• Yellow belt in Six Sigma training


• 5 years of SolidWorks experience or experience with comparable engineering software


• Practical working knowledge of quality management systems


• Practical working knowledge of FMEA process


• Skill in creating action plans to address identified issues


• PMI Certification preferred


• Ability to communicate effectively with cross functional teams


• Demonstrating self-confidence in making decisions


• Coaching, leading, and mentoring others


• Strong problem solving, planning and organizational skills


• Coping with pressures and setbacks - adaptable and able to respond to change
