Are you an experienced Sewing Machinist looking for a stable, full-time opportunity with an established manufacturer in Dudley?

We are currently recruiting for a skilled and reliable Sewing Machinist to join a busy production team, working on the manufacture of high-quality upholstered furniture products.

Duties:

• Operating industrial sewing machines to produce upholstery covers and furniture components
• Sewing a range of fabrics, vinyls, and specialist materials to required specifications
• Reading and interpreting production sheets, patterns, and work instructions
• Inspecting materials and finished products to ensure quality standards are met
• Working closely with fabric cutters, upholsterers, and production colleagues
• Identifying and reporting defects, shortages, or production issues
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised work area
• Meeting daily production targets while maintaining high levels of workmanship
• Ensuring all work complies with company quality and health & safety requirements

Requirements:

• Previous sewing machinist experience is essential
• Experience working with upholstery, furniture, textiles, or similar products is advantageous
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work efficiently to production targets
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Reliable with a positive work ethic
