GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
The Logistics Analyst I is responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of process order processing and inventory control activities within SAP.
This role audits all process orders prior to entry, oversees Warehouse Management (WM) cycle counting activities, and supports continuous improvement across logistics operations.
The analyst works closely with production, planning, and warehouse teams to maintain data accuracy and drive operational efficiency.
This job requires advanced organizational skills, as analysts must keep several databases and spreadsheets detailing the various elements and aspects of inventory.
Must have a fundamental understanding and knowledge of SAP.
This position will report to the Inventory Control Supervisor.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Audit process orders for accuracy and identify discrepancies; escalate any inaccuracies to operations for clarification or correction.
- Identify discrepancies in process orders and coordinate with production, planning, and quality teams to resolve issues prior to being closed out.
- Maintain the VPT (vessel production times spreadsheet) for leadership to analyze.
- Coordinate with the cycle counter for executing the WM (warehouse managed) cycle count program.
- Uses SAP to monitor physical inventory count against record balance for discrepancies, reconcile inventory, and records adjustments.
- Troubleshoots and corrects inventory discrepancies by adhering to the company cycle count policy.
- Maintains required audit trails.
- Gathers and researches information and resolves complex problems.
- Counts, records, and balances assigned transactions accurately.
- Participate and adhere to site safety program and policies.
- Cross training and training others to perform this role as well.
- Additional tasks assigned by management.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENT: High school diploma or equivalent.
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT: - High level of expertise and proficiency in inventory control, production, shipping, or warehouse with a minimum 3 years' experience.
- SAP system experience is a requirement.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Multi-tasking with the ability to work under pressure.
- Strong proficiency using Excel software.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Must be able to take initiative and work independently.
- Ability to interface with production and engineering groups to resolve inventory problems with limited direction from Manager.

- Ability to work onsite in; Corsicana, TX.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- Must have the ability to lift/push/carry up to 50 lbs.
chest high. - Must be able to access and be comfortable with working in a variety of conditions to include confined spaces damp and/or dusty locations, freezing conditions, and hot conditions.
- Must be able to physically perform the essential duties of the position which include lifting, stooping, kneeling, couching, using hands to finger, balancing, walking, standing, talking, and hearing.
