General Manager | Gastro Pub & Boutique Hotel | Lancashire

Salary up to £65,000 + Tronc + 25% Bonus

COREcruitment is working with a well-established hospitality group to find an ambitious General Manager to lead a collection of gastro pubs and boutique accommodation in Lancashire.

This is an opportunity to take ownership of a £5m hospitality operation, make your mark and help shape the next stage of its development.

The Opportunity

You will oversee a collection of three neighbouring hospitality venues, including a beautifully refurbished gastro pub with 38 bedrooms.

Following a £1.2m refurbishment, the business offers a fresh environment, with further opportunities to build on its success.

You will lead a team of around 45 people working across the three sites, with a focus on creating a consistent guest experience, developing your people and driving commercial performance.

This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who enjoys being on the floor, supporting their team and getting involved in the day-to-day operation.

What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience as a General Manager within a quality gastro pub, destination pub or small boutique hotel.
• A strong understanding of food-led hospitality, with a genuine passion for food and drink.
• The commercial awareness to manage a multi-site operation with a turnover of around £5m.
• A hands-on leadership style, with the ability to motivate, develop and support a team of 45.
• The personality and ambition to bring fresh ideas, take ownership and influence the future direction of the business.
• A track record of driving standards, improving performance and delivering memorable guest experiences.

We’re particularly keen to hear from candidates with a strong gastro pub background.

This is a food-led operation, so a solid understanding of quality food, drink and service is essential.
