Location: Buckfastleigh
Salary: £13.00 per hour
Shifts: Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm ________________________________________________________________________
About the Role
We are recruiting for an Assembler / Finisher to a well-established British manufacturer based in Buckfastleigh.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a company renowned for quality craftsmanship and the production of premium wood-burning stoves and metal products.

Working within a busy manufacturing environment, you will be responsible for assembling, finishing and inspecting products to ensure they meet the high standards expected by Dean Forge, while supporting production efficiency and product quality.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assemble components and finished products in line with production specifications

  • Carry out finishing work, including preparation, cleaning and quality checks

  • Inspect completed products to ensure quality standards are met

  • Use hand tools and workshop equipment safely and effectively

  • Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment

About You


Essential:

  • Previous assembly, production or manufacturing experience

  • Good attention to detail and commitment to quality

  • Ability to use hand tools and follow work instructions

  • Reliable and able to work effectively as part of a team




Desirable:

  • Previous finishing or product assembly experience

  • Manufacturing or engineering workshop background

  • Experience working to production targets and quality standards
