Location: Buckfastleigh
Salary: £13.00 per hour
Shifts: Tuesday to Saturday

About the Role
We are recruiting for a Front of House Assistant for one of our clients Café's in Buckfastleigh.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a popular café known for its welcoming atmosphere, quality food, and outstanding customer service.
Working within a busy café environment, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, handling orders and payments, serving food and drinks, and ensuring customers enjoy a positive dining experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greeting and serving customers in a friendly and professional manner

  • Taking food and drink orders and processing payments

  • Preparing and serving hot and cold beverages

  • Maintaining cleanliness and presentation standards throughout the café

  • Supporting the kitchen and front of house team during busy service periods



About You


Essential:

  • Previous customer service experience

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • A positive, friendly and professional attitude

  • Ability to work efficiently in a busy environment




Desirable:

  • Previous café, restaurant or hospitality experience

  • Barista or beverage preparation experience

  • Experience using till or EPOS systems
