Due to continued growth and a strong order book, we are currently recruiting a skilled Welder Fabricator with MIG and TIG welding experience to join this well-established organisation based in Leeds, West Yorkshire.

This Leeds-based employer is easily commutable from Bradford, Huddersfield, Halifax, Wakefield and the surrounding areas.

Key Responsibilities of the Welder Fabricator

• Performing high-quality MIG and TIG welding on structural steel components.


• Fabricating structural steelwork from detailed engineering drawings.


• Reading and interpreting technical engineering and fabrication drawings.


• Working with structural steel sections, plate and sheet material.


• Using a variety of hand and power tools to manufacture finished products.


• Working with material thicknesses ranging from 5mm to 20mm+.

Working Hours of the Welder Fabricator

• Monday to Thursday: 07:30am - 4:30pm


• Friday: 07:30am - 12:30pm

We Would Be Keen to Speak with Candidates Who Possess:

• Previous experience working as a Welder Fabricator within a structural steel, manufacturing or engineering environment.


• Proven MIG and TIG welding experience.


• Ability to read and interpret technical engineering drawings.


• Experience using a variety of hand and power tools.


• A keen eye for detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.


• The ability to work independently and as part of a team.

In Return, the Welder Fabricator Will Receive:

• £15.50 - £17.00 per hour, depending on experience.


• Early finish every Friday.


• Overtime paid at premium rates.
