Hotel Financial Controller

Salary: €55,000 gross per year + 10% bonus

About the Role

Are you an experienced hospitality finance professional looking for your next challenge?

We’re looking for a Financial Controller to oversee the financial performance of a multi-site hotel portfolio comprising several internationally branded hotels with more than 700 rooms in total.

Working closely with the Regional Financial & Business Controller and the hotel General Managers, you’ll take responsibility for financial reporting, budgeting, performance analysis, and financial controls across the portfolio.

This is an opportunity to combine strong financial expertise with a hands-on, business partnering approach.

The Role

• Oversee monthly management reporting and financial closings, working closely with the accounting team.
• Analyse hotel performance, P&L results, and USALI reporting, identifying variances and recommending improvements.
• Prepare and monitor operating budgets, investment budgets, forecasts, and cash flow.
• Ensure financial procedures and internal controls are followed across the hotels.
• Monitor expenditure and lead supplier negotiations.
• Prepare financial reports for senior management, hotel owners, and brand partners.
• Lead, support, and develop the finance team across the portfolio.
• Partner with General Managers, providing financial insights to support business decisions.

About You

• Degree-level qualification in Finance, Accounting, or Management Control.
• At least five years of relevant experience in hospitality finance.
• Experience managing finances across multiple hotels or within a large hotel operation.
• Strong knowledge of USALI reporting and management accounting.
• Experience with hotel systems such as Micros, Opera, or Opera Cloud.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Strong understanding of budgeting, cash flow management, and financial performance.
• Confident negotiating with suppliers and working with senior stakeholders.
• Highly organised, analytical, and comfortable leading a team.
• Fluent French and English are essential for working with international partners.
