On behalf of a client operating in international FF&E and interior design, we are currently recruiting, an experienced Logistics Manager to lead and coordinate freight activity across a diverse portfolio of projects worldwide.

We are looking for a seasoned logistics professional bringing a minimum of five years' hands-on expertise, ideally spanning international freight, storage operations, and delivery programmes tied to FF&E projects.

A track record gained in hotel or restaurant fit-outs will be especially valued.

Acting as the central link between procurement, project managers, vendors, freight partners, warehouse operators, and on-site fitting crews, you will make sure that furniture, fixtures, equipment, and materials reach their destinations on time, undamaged, and in step with each project's timeline.

Success in this role demands excellent coordination abilities, a solid commercial mindset, and the capacity to juggle numerous consignments, partners, delivery locations, and competing deadlines at once.

Key responsibilities:

Freight & Transport Coordination

• Organise, schedule, and oversee both local and overseas FF&E consignments
• Steer the full transport chain, from collecting goods at source to their final handover
• Handle forwarding arrangements, cargo consolidation, storage, and final-leg deliveries
• Keep a close watch on consignments and act early on delays, damage, or other disruptions
• Synchronise arrivals with fit-out programmes and site-ready dates

Project-Focused Logistics

• Deliver end-to-end logistics support across several simultaneous FF&E and hotel-related ventures
• Agree delivery priorities and timetables jointly with buying and delivery-focused colleagues
• Sequence cargo arrivals and site handling around the specific needs of each venture
• Ensure on-site teams receive goods in the right state, quantity, and installation order

Partners, Carriers & Storage

• Serve as the key contact for manufacturers, vendors, forwarders, shipping lines, and storage providers
• Arrange pickups and merge consignments whenever this adds commercial or operational value
• Oversee stock held at warehouses and follow the flow of project materials
• Assess freight rates and help choose and manage the performance of logistics providers

Paperwork & Budget Discipline

• Keep shipping, delivery, and logistics records complete and up to date
• Handle commercial invoices, packing documentation, customs paperwork, and related shipping records
• Check freight, storage, and distribution spend against agreed project budgets
• Spot and pursue chances to streamline operations and strip out avoidable expense
• Run reliable shipment and delivery trackers for every live project

Key requirements:

• At least five years' professional background in logistics, supply chain, freight, or project-based transport
• Hands-on FF&E experience is essential
• Prior responsibility for logistics on hotel, restaurant, or comparable hospitality ventures is a major plus
• Sound grasp of overseas shipping, forwarding, warehousing, and delivery orchestration
• Proven ability to run many vendors, consignments, and deadlines in parallel
• Sharp organisational, analytical, and troubleshooting capabilities
• Meticulous and precise in everything you do
• Confident working with shipping documentation, trackers, budgets, and reporting systems
• First-rate communication and vendor-relations skills
• Fluent English; further languages welcomed
• Self-sufficient, yet effective at aligning with international colleagues and external providers
• Happy to split time between home and the office in Mriehel, Malta
