Human Resources Manager

Location: New York, NY
Salary: $80,000–$90,000
Reports to: HR Director
Working Arrangement: On-site

We’re looking for a hands-on, people-focused HR Manager to support the opening and ongoing operations of three exciting restaurant concepts in New York.

Working closely with the HR Director and restaurant leadership teams, you’ll help build great teams, support employees and keep day-to-day HR operations running smoothly.

  Support the opening of all three concepts, coordinating recruitment, onboarding and training.

  Manage hiring across front-of-house, back-of-house and management positions.

• 
  

  Act as the go-to HR contact for employees and managers, helping with employee relations and performance matters.

  Oversee HR administration, employee records, benefits and payroll coordination.

• 
  

  Support HR policies and ensure compliance with New York employment requirements.

• 
  

  Work with leadership to improve employee engagement, retention and workplace culture.

• 
  

  Experience in a generalist HR role, ideally within hospitality or restaurants.

• 
  

  Strong knowledge of recruitment, onboarding, employee relations and HR administration.

• 
  

  Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.

• 
  

  A practical, approachable style with strong communication and problem-solving skills.

• 
  

  Good understanding of New York employment laws and HR best practices.

• 
  

  Comfortable working on-site in a fast-paced environment, including occasional evenings and weekends during opening periods.
