Fostering Social Worker | Manchester | £37.00 per hour | Hybrid

Join a Fostering Team within a Local Authority based in Manchester.

The Social Worker will be responsible for completing fostering assessments, Form F assessments, foster carer reviews and connected persons assessments.

The role involves supporting foster carers, safeguarding children, promoting placement stability and ensuring positive outcomes for children in care.

The role offers £37.00/hour, hybrid working with 2-3 days in the office and an initial 3-month contract, with the potential to extend to 6 months.

This is a locum opportunity requiring 3 years' post-qualified experience within a Local Authority.

Previous experience in fostering services, Form F assessments, foster carer recruitment, supervision and support is essential.

Knowledge of safeguarding, child protection, fostering regulations, connected persons assessments and care planning is highly desirable.

Experience working with children in care, birth families and multidisciplinary teams will be beneficial.
