COREcruitment is partnering with one of London's best-run premium restaurant groups to find a Senior Sous Chef for its large, high-volume site in central London.

Everything is cooked fresh on site every day in open kitchens, the group is a certified B Corp with several central London sites, and new openings are on the way.

Senior Sous Chef is the pipeline for Head Chef here, and this is a role built for someone who wants to be next.

The Senior Sous Chef role

• Be the reliable number two to the Head Chef and run the kitchen in their absence
• Lead service across a 100+ seat dining room and a 60-seat private dining room
• Oversee prep, ordering and stock control
• Train, mentor and develop the brigade
• Keep food quality, hygiene and consistency tight

About you

• Senior Sous Chef experience in a high-volume, fresh-food kitchen
• Confident running busy services solo
• Strong on stock control, food safety and team development
• A calm, hands-on leader
• Ready to make your next move Head Chef

The package

• 50k total package
• Bonus of up to 5k a year, paid six-monthly
• Team retention bonus
• Up to 55.5k a year with full bonus
• 48-hour contract averaging 45 to 48 hours, moving to 45 hours within the next year
• Paid overtime
• Structured training and a clear path from Senior Sous Chef to Head Chef
