Finance Manager

Location: New York, NY
Salary: $80,000–$90,000

About the Role

We're looking for a Finance Manager to join a growing restaurant group in New York, supporting the opening and ongoing running of three restaurant concepts.

Reporting to the Director of Finance, you'll look after day-to-day financial operations, reporting, budgets and cost control.

You'll work closely with restaurant managers and kitchen teams, helping keep everything organised and making sure the numbers are where they need to be.

What You'll Be Doing

• Support the financial setup and opening of three new restaurants.
• Manage daily sales reporting, cash reconciliations and financial records.
• Assist with month-end reporting, budgets and forecasts.
• Monitor food, beverage, labour and operating costs.
• Work with chefs on inventory, stock counts and recipe costing.
• Manage supplier invoices, payments and accounts payable.
• Review payroll figures, tips and related expenses.
• Work closely with restaurant managers to improve financial performance.

About You

• Previous experience in finance or accounting, ideally within hospitality.
• Good understanding of financial reporting, budgets and reconciliations.
• Strong Excel skills and confidence using finance systems.
• Organised, detail-focused and comfortable managing deadlines.
• A hands-on approach and happy working with different teams.
• Experience in restaurant finance or supporting new openings would be a plus.
• Knowledge of Toast and Stocktake Online would also be an advantage.
