£55,000–£65,000 + BONUS

A small restaurant where the General Manager makes a big difference.

We are looking for an experienced, hands-on leader to take ownership of this intimate, 55-cover Japanese restaurant in London.

Working directly with the owners, you will have real influence over service, the team and the performance of the business.

This needs someone who loves being on the floor, knows how to deliver a brilliant guest experience and can build a team that takes pride in doing the same.

THE ROLE

• You will lead from the front during service, comfortable running a section, supporting the bar and setting the standard through your own approach to hospitality.
• Alongside the day-to-day operation, you will bring structure to training, develop your supervisors and managers, and build confidence and consistency across the team.
• There is a clear commercial element too.
  
  You will understand the numbers, manage costs carefully and spot opportunities to grow revenue through strong service, product knowledge and repeat business.

ABOUT YOU

• You will already be an experienced restaurant leader with a strong floor presence, high service standards and the confidence to take accountability.
• Japanese restaurant experience would be particularly relevant, alongside good product knowledge and an appreciation of authentic Japanese hospitality.
• You will enjoy working in a small, owner-led business where relationships matter, everyone gets involved and your contribution is visible.
