Support Workers Required - Shrewsbury

Corus Consultancy is currently recruiting dedicated and compassionate Care Assistants to support residents within a residential care setting in the Shrewsbury area.

This is an excellent opportunity for experienced care professionals seeking ongoing work with regular weekday shifts, while making a genuine difference to the lives of older adults.
The Role As a Care Assistant, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality, person-centred care and support to residents, ensuring their dignity, independence, comfort and wellbeing are maintained at all times.

We have available both days and night shifts.

Your duties will include:

- Supporting residents with personal care and daily living activities
- Assisting with mobility and safe moving and handling practices
- Providing companionship and emotional support
- Supporting residents with meals, hydration and nutritional needs
- Following individual care plans and reporting changes in wellbeing
- Maintaining accurate care records and documentation
- Promoting independence, choice and dignity
- Working collaboratively with colleagues to provide outstanding care

Requirements To be considered for this position, you must have:

- Previous Care Assistant experience within a care home, nursing home, supported living or healthcare setting
- A valid Moving & Handling Certificate
- An Enhanced DBS Certificate
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A caring, reliable and professional approach
- The right to work in the UK
