We are looking for a qualified Adult's Social Worker to join the community team in the Oxfordshire area.

Do not apply if you do not have a Social Work qualification with a minimum of 2 year post qualified experience of working in a English local authority.

About the team

This role involves supporting adults across West Oxfordshire to improve their wellbeing, independence and safety.

Responsibilities include responding to urgent cases through a duty rota, carrying out Care Act assessments, supporting carers, promoting independence and wellbeing, and undertaking safeguarding work to protect vulnerable adults through strengths-based social work practice.

About you

An enthusiastic and committed Social Worker who can work effectively in a fast-paced environment is essential for this role and previous experience working in a Community Team.

Social Workers must hold a Social Work qualification (Degree/DipSW/CQSW) and have a minimum of three years' post-qualifying experience.

A valid UK driving licence and access to a vehicle are also good but not essential for the success of this role.
