We are recruiting on behalf of a reputable lifestyle and entertainment brand operating a high-profile location in Lisbon.

Our client is seeking a Sales & Marketing Manager to lead the venue's sales and marketing strategy in full alignment with its overall operating strategy.

Reporting into the venue's senior leadership team, you will uphold brand standards and core values while meeting — and exceeding — business objectives.

You will market a multi-product business (restaurant, entertainment and special events) to a diverse guest base of corporate clients, tourists and locals.

Key responsibilities:

• Develop and execute sales strategies that deliver consistent year-over-year growth in guest counts
• Lead the creation and execution of marketing initiatives, managing marketing expenses in line with budget and forecast models
• Demonstrate strong financial command of the venue's budget and P&L
• Partner across all departments to ensure consistent execution of systems, products and services to brand standards
• Foster a guest-first culture across the team, ensuring every team member puts the guest first in every situation
• Uphold objective standards for guest satisfaction, monitoring service quality to consistently meet brand and guest expectations
• Design and deliver meetings and events that exceed client expectations
• Assist senior management in attracting and retaining exceptional talent, placing people in roles that maximise their skills and impact
• Set clear goals and expectations through performance reviews, and hold your team accountable for results
• Support team development and advancement along well-defined career paths, acting as a Learning Coach to drive continuous improvement and retention
• Maintain a self-motivated approach to your own personal and professional growth

Key requirements:

• Fluency in English and Portuguese required; additional languages are an advantage

• Genuine enthusiasm and aptitude for sales, with a high level of business acumen
• Experience with CRM
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate complex ideas to any audience
• Ability to pitch and present effectively in one-on-one and group settings — to media, customers, clients, partners and colleagues
• Expertise in social media platforms
• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose issues and implement solutions
• Creative thinking and a willingness to bring fresh ideas to the team
