Zero2Five is delighted to be working with a high-quality, family-owned private day nursery to find an exceptional Nursery Manager to lead their setting.

This is a fantastic opportunity to take the lead in a well-established nursery with a strong history of providing excellent care and education.

The previous Nursery Manager enjoyed an incredible 13+ years in the role, demonstrating the stability, commitment and positive environment that make this such an exciting opportunity.

Now, we are looking for someone special to build on that success!

THE ROLE – WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?

As Nursery Manager, you'll be at the heart of the setting, creating an environment where children flourish, staff feel valued and parents have complete confidence in the care their children receive.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Taking overall responsibility for the smooth day-to-day running of the nursery.
• Leading, motivating and developing a dedicated nursery team.
• Maintaining consistently high standards of childcare, education and safeguarding.
• Ensuring compliance with Ofsted requirements and the EYFS framework.
• Building strong, trusting relationships with parents, children and staff.
• Overseeing curriculum planning and ensuring children benefit from engaging learning experiences.
• Supporting staff through regular supervision, coaching and professional development.
• Creating a positive, welcoming and nurturing environment where everyone feels valued.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

We want a Nursery Manager who leads with passion, positivity and purpose.

You'll ideally have:

• A recognised Level 3 or above childcare qualification.
• Previous management experience within an early years setting.
• A strong understanding of EYFS, safeguarding and Ofsted requirements.
• Excellent leadership, communication and organisational skills.
• The ability to inspire, support and develop a nursery team.
• A genuine passion for providing children with the very best start in life.
