Our client is seeking a skilled legal professional to join their in-house legal team, based in Warrington, to defend a range of litigated claims to include EL/PL, Personal Injury and Property Damage claims.
You will be responsible for overseeing a wide range of cases, from inception to resolution, while providing strategic legal guidance to the business on a 14-month fixed term contract.
As an In-House claims manager, you will:
Develop and implement case strategies, working closely with external legal teams, experts and stakeholders.
Assess risk exposure, identify emerging issues and advise the business on potential legal liabilities.
Provide legal advice on litigation matters, attend court hearings, and represent the company in negotiations, settlements and trials.
Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, maintain accurate case files and prepare detailed reports for senior management.
Work closely with internal teams to ensure seamless communication and alignment on claims strategies.

A qualified Solicitor or legal professional with 5+ years of experience in defendant litigation.

About the role
As a Private Client Legal Executive, your day-to-day duties will include:
Running your own caseload of wills, LPAs and probates
Attending nursing homes and private homes of elderly clients
Taking instruction for wills, powers of attorney, probate, administration of estates and Court of Protection
Drafting all relevant documents and submitting applications to Probate Registry
Accurately preparing routine correspondence
About You
