The Manufacturing Plant Operator can work in our Felt Department or in our Roofing Department at our Cleveland, Ohio Plant.
To start, this is a temporary position which can lead to a regular position after successfully completing a probationary period.
They start-up, troubleshoot, and operate manufacturing and production equipment safely and routinely while achieving or exceeding standard levels of production, according to specifications.
This position can turn into a regular union position if the employee completes the probationary period, successfully.
During the probationary period, this position will be on 1st Shift.
If the employee successfully completes the probationary period and becomes a regular employee, the position will most likely change to 2nd or 3rd shift, depending on Plant needs.
Duties and Responsibilities
Performs work in a safe manner, according to safety rules and guidelines
Communicates with Team Lead and/or Supervisor during shift-changes and throughout shift
Understands and operates the HMI at the various stations along the line, to keep the line operating safely and efficiently
Monitors weight, speed, and other metrics along the line
Operates forklift to move raw materials, load carrier and move finished product
Makes raw material batches in the appropriate mixer(s), according to specifications
Performs quality control tests on the batches, per established guidelines
Ensures proper labels are being used on the taping machine
Fills appropriate-sized pails, drums or totes, labels filled-items and places pails/drums on pallet
Follows Tremco's Escalation Policy for any safety or quality concerns
Performs daily housekeeping/cleaning of immediate area and other surrounding areas, as needed
During line down-time, performs housekeeping duties in immediate area, other areas of the plant or assist in other departments
Performs other duties, as assigned

Document accurate maintenance activity records.

Report incidents, near misses, and any non-conformances through the appropriate channels.

Give input on and coordinate maintenance supply purchases.

Essential Functions:
Works with CSR / AR Manager and Warehouse technician to ensure proper handling of in bound and out bound freight.
Manages storage of raw materials and finished goods, along with container counts.
Primary responsibility as CDL Driver to help meet the equipment needs of customers and plant operations by delivering and picking up materials and equipment in a timely, safe and courteous manner.
Permitted to operate heavy equipment such as semi-trucks and trailers,
Must be certified forklift operator and follow all regulations and company policies in order to safely load and unload materials to/from trailers and tankers so they may be transported safely and comply with all regulations.
Maintaining hazardous waste storage area and hazardous waste inventory in a manner consistent with all federal, state, local and company regulations and policies.
Have DOT certification.
Responsible for ensuring all trucks, trailers, and drivers have the proper licenses and certifications to haul any and all materials they deliver or pick up from Arnette Polymers, including hazardous waste.
Ensure all containers are clean, labeled properly, and stored in appropriate containers, as to maintain compliance with all regulations and policies.
Provides on-call and overtime support as needed in the evenings and other required times as designated by management.
Compliance and follow through from training courses regarding RCRA, EPA, OSHA, and other company guidelines and trainings for assigned job duties.
Acts in a stewardship capacity for the Company, works as a functional member of the team, has the ability to self-direct and self-regulate workday.
Participates in all environmental and safety training as required by Federal, State, County, and Local regulations as well as company policies.
Suggests improvements for safety and compliance.
Promptly reports any safety incidents and participates in incident investigations as requested.

Minimum Requirements:

Extensive knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within the chemical manufacturing industry.

Role Summary
The Business Development Manager is responsible for delivering sales targets and overseeing the overall operation and profitability of the Business Development function.
The role focuses on growing OneCall24's market share through securing new packages, expanding the customer and candidate base, and strengthening the company's presence within assigned geographic areas.
This includes designing and implementing a strategic sales plan that supports business growth and positions the company competitively.
The Business Development Manager is also responsible for hiring and training team members, setting and monitoring performance targets, adjusting strategies where necessary, and developing processes that effectively drive gross profit.

1.Productivity and Performance
Provide relevant and high-level input to the strategic plan, as needed.
Work with the Director to run the strategic plan for each strategic area.
Liaise with Business Development Colleagues to devise expansion strategies.
Seek and implement ways to improve regional profit, grow the business and support with the management of risk.
Devise plans to grow client base without compromising on margin.
Analyse activity, package pipeline and awarded packages both weekly and monthly to ensure on track with the strategic plan.
Identify and win packages in line with business strategy.
Follow strategic initiatives to meet business objectives, in line with sales plans.
Support the delivery of high-quality customer service across allocated regions by ensuring the CRM is effective, feeding back information to team.
Support regional operations by:
Being forthcoming with business process ideas
Monitoring GP margins and worker pay rates
Driving productivity through systems and processes
Scrutinise your individual delivery linked to sales plans to ensure that we are operating above expectations set by the board
Ensure e CRM is up to date with all active opportunities and maintain CRM to allow accurate forecasting.
To be fully accountable to achieve the budgeted GP deliverable set for the area/s responsible for.
Monitor and interpret MI data, as/if needed.
