About the role/school
We are currently seeking passionate and dedicated Level 2 & 3 Practitioners to join a bright, high-quality day nursery in Park Royal.
The nursery caters for children aged 3 months to 5 years and provides a safe, caring, and flexible environment where learning and play are closely blended.
The purpose-built setting is well-equipped, with a generous outdoor garden to support both indoor and outdoor exploration.
As a Level 2 & 3 Practitioner, you will be joining a welcoming team who value creativity, play, and a “home away from home” atmosphere, working in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
Nutrition, strong parental communication, and staff expertise are at the heart of the nursery's ethos, and the role of Level 2 & 3 Practitioners is central to delivering this vision.
Job Responsibilities
Provide high-quality care and education as part of the nursery's team of Level 2 & 3 Practitioners
Plan and deliver engaging, play-based activities tailored to children's individual needs
Support children's learning and development in line with the EYFS framework
Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and carers to maintain strong communication and positive relationships
Create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for all children
Contribute to the smooth daily running of the nursery alongside other Level 2 & 3 Practitioners
Qualifications/Experience
Relevant childcare qualification (Level 2 or Level 3)
Previous experience as a Level 2 & 3 Practitioner within an early years setting desirable
Enhanced DBS Certificate with the Update Service

About the team
The team works in line with a therapeutic approach to ensure the appropriate care and welfare of all children and young people is provided to create a home environment which exceeds their needs.
The team ensures the children and young people are supported both day and night, averaging 1 sleep in shifts per week.
The team are highly experienced in working with vulnerable young children aged 6-12, who have experienced trauma: whether that be neglect, emotional abuse, sexual abuse etc.
About You
A level 3 diploma in residential care is preferable however not essential to be considered for this role.
A full driving licence is needed for this position.
