Service Care Solutions are recruiting an experienced and cleared Band 6 Prison Nurse in Staffordshire.
The sucessful Prison Nurse will work in a unique environment, delivering many of the nurse-led services that are provided in the wider community, with a unique opportunity to support someone throughout their time in prison.
The sucessful Prison Nurse will be required to offer support across within the prison.
Duties include dealing with minor injury and illness, emergency care, health assessments, safe and legal use of appropriate medicines and working collaboratively with the wider team whilst treating all patients as individuals, as well as always respecting their privacy and dignity

Person Specification
The successful Prison Nurse must be a Qualified Mental Health Nurse currently registered with the NMC and have recent experience working within a prison.
The applicant must hold current prison vetting along with a clear transferable DBS.
