The Opportunity:
We're recruiting for an established international manufacturer of technical products and solutions for residential and commercial market.
With a strong presence across Europe and products used across residential, commercial and industrial environments, the business is looking to strengthen its UK & Ireland operation with an experienced Business Development Manager.
Candidates must have proven B2B sales or business development experience within the industrial doors, garage doors, automated gates, access control, entrance automation or similar.
This is a commercially focused role responsible for growing market share across the UK & Ireland, developing new business opportunities while strengthening relationships with existing strategic accounts.
The position will particularly suit someone who understands selling through OEMs, distributors and other B2B channel partners.
The role is predominantly field based, with approximately 70% of your time spent meeting customers and partners across the UK & Ireland.
The Role:
Identifying and developing new customers and commercial opportunities across the UK & Ireland
Building and managing a healthy sales pipeline against agreed revenue targets
Developing existing strategic accounts, including OEM and distribution partners
Identifying new routes to market and target accounts
Monitoring competitor activity, market developments and customer requirements to identify opportunities for growth
Negotiating commercial agreements and developing long-term, profitable customer relationships
Working closely with Product Management, Customer Operations and the wider European commercial team
Running targeted sales initiatives and programmes designed to convert prospective accounts

The Person:
Must have experience within Business Development, Territory Sales, Area Sales or a similar B2B commercial position
Candidates must have proven B2B sales or business development experience within the industrial doors, garage doors, automated gates, access control, entrance automation or loading bay equipment sectors, or a closely related technical industry
A demonstrable hunter mentality with experience winning new customers
Experience working with OEMs, distributors, dealers or other channel partners
Strong commercial negotiation and relationship-building skills

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Mission Operations Engineer to join a growing space operations team supporting complex satellite missions across their full lifecycle.
This is a broad and technically varied role, with responsibilities spanning mission development, operations preparation, launch and early operations, routine spacecraft operations, mission planning, spacecraft control, anomaly resolution and end-of-life activities.
Unlike more traditionally segmented operations positions, this role provides exposure across a wide range of mission operations disciplines.

The Role
- Act as an Operations Technical Lead across missions and projects.
- Perform routine and critical real-time spacecraft operations.

- Develop and maintain mission operations procedures, tools, scripts and documentation.

About You
Were looking for an experienced spacecraft operations professional who can operate confidently across multiple disciplines and remain calm and methodical during high-pressure mission activities.
Essential experience includes:
- Degree in a relevant engineering or scientific discipline.
- 5+ years' experience within the satellite/space industry, ideally including real-time spacecraft operations.
- Experience operating LEO spacecraft across multiple mission phases.
- Strong knowledge of satellite subsystems, particularly AOCS/GNC and/or On-Board Data Handling.
- Experience with mission control systems, including procedure development, monitoring and control, mission planning and configuration management.
- Experience with spacecraft performance monitoring and anomaly investigation/resolution.
- Strong problem-solving and root-cause analysis capabilities.
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
- Ability to remain calm, disciplined and accurate during critical mission operations.
- Ability to develop and implement innovative spacecraft operations concepts.
- Eligible to obtain, or currently holding, SC security clearance or higher.
Desirable Experience
Experience with the following would be advantageous:
- SCOS-2000 or similar mission control systems.
