JOB DESCRIPTION
GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB: The Building Envelope Field Estimator will evaluate existing building envelope conditions based on visual and documented areas of deficiencies, develop a scope of work to remedy identified deficiencies, and develop budgets, estimates, and or proposals associated with building envelope repairs.
This role is responsible for converting bid documents to construction documents and communicating job scope and expectations to the field site foreman, both verbal and written.
Monitor job costs and work as a team to ensure productivity and fiscal responsibility are being met.
Challenge yourself to overcome obstacles and find ways to make things happen.
Attend pre-bids and develop photo documentation and field dimension records.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for investigating and analyzing building envelope failures and suggesting long-term repairs. Conduct building envelope condition assessments, forensic investigations, and failure analysis to determine the root cause of problems and develop appropriate remediation strategies. Coordinate on-site schedules, condition requirements, and the overall phasing of work. Provide technical expertise in building envelope systems, including roofing, waterproofing, and wall systems.
Execute take-offs of construction documents Travels to project sites to review for proposal development. Coordinate with Tremco Sales Representatives and WTI Construction Manager. Skillfully prepare estimates by meticulously studying proposals, plans, specifications, and addendums by identifying labor, material, and time requirements. Conduct detailed takeoffs for building envelope repairs, guaranteeing a comprehensive grasp of the project scope. Assemble and present estimates with precision, incorporating numerical and descriptive information.
OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Four plus years of experience in the building envelope industry.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and/or CAD drawings. Ability to travel to managed local job sites weekly or as required. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, including MS Teams. Familiarity with Project Management Software. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work independently, follow through on assignments with minimal direction, set priorities that accurately reflect the relative importance of job responsibilities, and perform under deadlines with frequent interruptions. 1-3 years of construction estimation experience. Personal commitment to safety, integrity, and continual professional development.
Ability to use estimating software, advanced take-off tools, and other computer programs. The salary range for applicants in this position generally ranges between $72,000 and $90,000.

Leverage knowledge of tiered governance systems, Kaizen, 5S, visual management and SMED to assist sites in improving efficiencies by evaluating process and practice from various perspectives.
Influence and motivate others to attend to, participate in and own local continuous improvement efforts and initiatives.
Lead cross-functional improvement projects, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet predefined objectives.
Develop, monitor, and communicate project plans, timelines, and budgets with key stakeholders.

Teach, lead and coach cross-functional teams on Lean Six Sigma tools and methodologies.

GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB: The CM Development Manager is responsible for leading and managing all aspects of the CM Associate program, developing Construction Management Associates for rapid advancement into Construction Manager positions.
This position will create a program curriculum to enhance roofing and contractor safety knowledge, technical roofing expertise, and roofing field-related tasks and processes, thereby helping familiarize the CM Associate with existing WTI construction processes and procedures.

Collaborate with WTI Leadership to identify future resource needs and develop timelines for implementing CM Associate resources to support growth. Assess daily operational situations for crisis management, safety, and escalation protocol. Determine solutions to project issues, including but not limited to, field tasks, process questions, workload balance, job site conditions, product management issues, etc. Travel to job sites as needed to provide support to CM Associate resources. Schedule onsite training in regions as needed to help oversee CM Associate field work and educational opportunities. Cross-collaborate with CM Associates in the Commercial Construction group to help educate on non-roofing related tasks such as estimating, e-Builder, process, etc.
Facilitate resources for daily operations.
Identify resource or employee concerns and act promptly to resolve and engage appropriate HR or WTI management.
Ensure documentation of employee issues is prompt and submitted to HR.
Act as an agent of change and improvement, adapting quickly to changing business priorities. Performance of the account. Establish, define, and communicate a clear strategic direction and targets for goal attainment for the CM Associate team. Facilitate a culture of teamwork and excellence amongst the account and within regions, as well as the organization.
Communicate and implement company policies and procedures within the program and support throughout the organization as required.

7+ years of prior experience in a results-oriented leadership role for a regional, cross-functional team within the building construction industry. Prior experience leading a staff in remote multi-state locations. Prior experience clearly defining expectations, articulating ideas, thoughts, and views, and providing continual, timely, frank, and direct feedback to others. Proven experience with setting strategy and establishing plans for business growth. Prior experience working between multiple departments that support regional compliance and profitability. JOB REQUIREMENTS KEY RESPONSBILITIES Annualised Hours Pattern
* Core work hours are Monday to Friday 7am - 3pm, with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break (equating to 37.5 hours per week).
Whilst working the Maintenance shift pattern, you are paid to work the following shifts below each year: -10 Weeks of Back Shifts (1 in 5) - 3pm - 11pm (with a 30-minute unpaid break) - 5 Weeks of Night Shifts (1 in 10) - 11pm - 7am (with a 30-minute unpaid break) - 10 Weekends - Saturday 7am - 3pm and Sunday 7am - 3pm

Where you are rostered to work the weekend, you will be allocated 2 ‘off days' as your rest days mid-week.
- Bank Holidays - You are required to work any bank holidays that fall immediately before and/or after your duty weekend shift.
You will be given the relevant number of days worked on bank holidays back in lieu to be taken at a time agreed with your Team Leader.
Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year's Day bank holidays will be covered on a voluntary basis, as patrol only.
