JOB TITLE: Manager Operational Compliance
REPORTS TO: Vice President of Distribution & Freight
PURPOSE: ENSURE OPERATIONAL UNIFORMITY AND COMPLANCE WITH CUSTOMER REQUIREMENTS by:
Collaborating between various distribution facilities to lead Rust-Oleum's initiatives focused on optimizing customer compliance and logistics performance and overseeing the end-to-end order cycle and customer experience, identifying opportunities for continuous improvement and operational efficiency
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

The primary result expected from the Manager - Customer Compliance and Logistics Performance will be to collaborate across departments to lead Rust-Oleum's initiatives focused on optimizing customer compliance and logistics performance.
Oversee the end-to-end order cycle and customer experience, identifying opportunities for continuous improvement and operational efficiency.
TASKS PROFILE:
Typical tasks for this position include (but are not limited to) the following:
Maintain and present monthly penalty dashboards to Rust-Oleum leadership, including division-specific reporting and commentary on root causes and corrective actions.
Track and report distribution center (DC) penalties, identifying actionable items and communicating updates in weekly Tier 3 meetings.
Lead and train Sales Associates on penalty dispute processes; manage disputes when necessary.
Collaborate cross-functionally to investigate and resolve compliance issues.
Serve as the primary liaison with Finance for compliance-related initiatives.
Ensure consistency in compliance reporting and best practices across all Consumer companies.
Own and manage the DC audit process, including staffing, process improvements, and data analysis.
Develop and maintain dashboards using data from Lucas, SAP, and Manhattan systems.
Analyze audit results and customer receiving data to support Sales and Finance payback initiatives.
Partner with Finance to align DC audit metrics with invoice shortage reporting.
Drive consistency in audit practices across all Consumer DCs.
Develop and maintain dashboards using data from WMS, TMS, SAP, and other sources to identify improvement opportunities.
Highlight actionable insights for management follow-up.
Ensure standardized reporting across all Consumer companies as directed by leadership.Responsibilities/Expectations:

Seven plus years of experience working in logistics, distribution or supply chain.

Prior history of working cross functionally.
Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements.
Working knowledge of SAP.
Bachelor's degree preferred.Salary Target Range: $95,000 - $110,000, bonus eligible

With guidance from research management or more senior professionals, plans and conducts experimental programs to complete a phase of a project or several projects of minor scope.
Under close supervision, conducts research on and testing of improvement of existing products, development of new products and technology and may include routine to complex synthesis or testing.
Assignment may be a phase of a major project or a total project of minor scope.
With minimal supervision from more experienced professionals, conducts routine synthesis or testing which provide experience and familiarization with methods, practices, and programs (analytical, performance, physical properties, etc.).
Under the guidance of more senior professionals or research management, acquires knowledge of Tremco's products, procedures, and applications.
Interfaces with section personnel in trouble-shooting problems with hardware, testing/synthesis equipment, product, and methods development.
May be responsible for timely calibration and maintenance of the various laboratory and equipment and documentation according to the company's business processes.
With minimal guidance, conducts literature searches and gathers pertinent information related to specific topics.
Under minimal supervision, compile, analyze and correlate technical data and write timely reports on projects completed or progress reports.
Writes procedures in accordance with the company's business practices.
Works with research management to formulate goals aligned with the executive leadership's initiatives and for professional growth.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (special skills, knowledge, ability, education, etc.):
Requires a B.S.
in Chemistry or related technical field or can be progressed from Assist Chemist (performance-based and tested).
Effective communication (oral and written) skills.
Proficiency in computer programs necessary for writing reports and performing mathematical calculations.
Knowledge of specialized scientific programs for molecular structure drawing, experimental design and statistics is a plus.
Wages: $28.00 per hour.
This position is bonus 12.5% eligible annually.

The Sr.
Technician, IT Support is responsible for maintaining, supporting and troubleshooting desktops, laptops, RF handhelds, and mobile devices, as well as providing end user support.

Requirements

Position Summary:
Carboline is seeking an EH&S Specialist located at our manufacturing facility in Lake Charles, LA. This person would be responsible for implementing and managing the environmental, health, safety, security, and emergency response programs for the local production and distribution facility.
We are looking for a dynamic trainer and behavior-based safety implementer for this facility.
This position will involve spending a lot of time on the production floor interacting with employees and supervisors identifying improvements in best practices and improving safety within processes.
PSM experience, hazardous waste management and someone that has worked within a Chemical processing facility is preferred.
Requirements:
Minimum of a BS degree in a safety, regulatory, or chemical related discipline or equivalent experience.
Minimum of 5 years of practical experience in safety, regulatory, and/or chemical fields.
Proven experience as safety manager.
Ability to produce reports and develop relevant policies.
Experience in data analysis and risk assessment.

Physical Requirements:
This position requires some physical activity including but not limited to standing/kneeling/walking/sitting on concrete for approximately 50% of workday.

Coordinate the investigation of incidents (including near misses and losses) and accidents to determine root causes and assist in the development of corrective and preventive action plans.
Serve as the site liaison to local emergency response providers.
Develop and conduct environmental, safety and health training programs to ensure employee's knowledge, understanding and adherence to safety and environmental regulations.
Serve as Facility Security Officer to implement and maintain facility security requirements as required by the Department of Homeland Security.
Conduct EH&S reviews for new product development, facility modification, product manufacturing modifications and new equipment/machinery installations per the OSHA PSM standard.
Create and update compliance-related standard operating procedures (SOPs) and job hazard analysis (JHAs).
Administer and monitor industrial hygiene sampling and communicate exposure information and/or personal protective equipment requirements to employees.
Report on health and safety awareness, issues, and statistics.
Maintain the health & safety statistics database.
Provide coaching and support to employees, supervision, and management to proactively address safety, health, and environmental risks and concerns.
Initiate or assist in efforts to continuously improve the overall working environment in the facility.
Provide technical assistance, training, and work direction to colleagues in other departments.
Analyze problems, identifying alternative solutions, and implementing recommendations in support of the Company safety goals and objectives.
Identify potential or actual areas of non-compliance through regular auditing and inspections and ensure appropriate corrective actions are taken.
Review and develop profiles for classification of hazardous waste.
Responsible for timely disposal of process waste and waste finished goods.
Provide support to the Corporate Director of EH&S.
Perform additional duties as assigned.

Assure the following shift is properly stocked with supplies and that materials are in sufficient quantities on the production floor to assure a smooth start-up. Responsible for ensuring ISO standards and procedures are followed. Review and approve time card hours in the timekeeping system by 8:30am every Monday morning. Communicate improper equipment operation or downtime to maintenance and coordinate required repairs. Perform annual evaluations and administer training for production employees. Monitor employee performance, coach, council, motivate, and discipline as necessary. Secure and lock facility when applicable. Enforce all company policies and regulations. Follow all environmental rules and regulations to ensure hazardous materials and waste are managed in an environmentally responsible manner as required by procedure. May be required to train and certify employees on proper use of forklifts. Perform additional duties as assigned Commit to the Company's safety and quality programs.
Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent. 2 years Supervisory or leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
May have to occasionally travel to other facilities or training events.
Manage 2nd shift from 2pm-10pm with possible weekends when production schedules demand additional output.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as procedure manuals, operating and maintenance manuals and safety rules.
Ability to use a computer for all company required processes, procedures, and trainings.

Strong Excel and Microsoft skill set. Lean Manufacturing- Six Sigma- Green Belt. 2-year college degree. Union background a plus.
