Job Title: Area Manager -Pro Channel
Location: Minnesota/Wisconsin (Field Sales)
Department: Rust-Oleum US Sales
Reports To: Midwest Zone Manager

Rust-Oleum Corporation is a worldwide leader in protective paints and coatings for both home and industry.

Summary:
As our Area Manager for Pro Channel, you are responsible for driving sales and represent Rust-Oleum's 14 platforms of products to independent paint dealers and professional paint contractors within the assigned geographic territory based in the Minneapolis, MN metro area.
This individual will work from a home-based office within the territory in which they will travel to service accounts in Minnesota, Wisconsin, South and North Dakota Travel accounts for 40-50%.
*Ideally candidates will reside in or near the Minneapolis, MN metro area.
Responsibilities: Here's what you can expect every day:
Sales - this job is all about increasing market share by selling the Rust-Oleum Portfolio of products in their assigned geographic territory.
Increase distribution of all Rust-Oleum brands within the assigned dealer and distributor base by expanding market share and reducing competitive presence.
Maintain regular contact with customers to identify business opportunities and increase market share.
Identify customer needs to facilitate product mix and platform recommendations.
Achieve profitable quarterly sales objectives and goals.
Execute category management strategies with dealer base to grow market share.
Develop and follow a comprehensive time and territory management plan to maximize coverage and efficiently manage expenses.
Provide merchandising, pricing, and promotional support to the dealer base.
Work with internal and external customers to meet all commitments and deadlines.
Maintain regular contact with customers to identify business opportunities, and to present new products.
Identify customer needs to facilitate product recommendations, and planogram recommendations.
Weekly/Monthly planning of calls dealer at the corporate level as well as store visits
Work with customer service to assure customer satisfaction on orders and set pricing.
Manage territory expense budgets.
Achieve quarterly sales objectives
Qualifications:
1 - 3 years of previous paint & coatings outside sales experience is preferred.
Associates or Bachelor's degree in a business-related field and/or equivalent work experience preferred.
Prior experience in a sales service role with demonstrated success in customer retention.
Must possess a valid Driver's License and have maintained a motor vehicle record within acceptable limits as prescribed by Rust-Oleum.
Previous retail selling experience strongly desired, paint store dealer experience a plus.
Requires the ability to effectively analyze a customer's business and successfully communicate how our products and services can help them increase their sales and profits.
Ability to analyze data and complete a Profit & Loss analysis as required.
Outstanding oral and written communication skills and presentation skills
Self-starter able to manage own time, schedule, and sales territory, with a proven ability to multitask.
Ability to work and travel within assigned territory 40-50% of the time.
Periodic evening and weekend hours are required for trade shows and customer events.
Proven history of exceptional follow-up skills.
Proven history of working with diverse customer base including independent dealers, distributors, MRO accounts, professional painting contractors and OEM.
Ability to understand and carry out instructions furnished in written or oral format.
Analyze territory performance reports and develop sales territory business plans.
Ability to analyze problems, collect data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions, and write reports to communicate the information.
Strong understanding of Microsoft Teams, Excel, Power BI, SAP and PowerPoint
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Products, SAP, Power BI and various Internet applications.
Working knowledge PowerPoint and presentation skills are key
Salary Target Range: $75,000 - $90,000, bonus eligible

SUMMARY:
The combined role of Dispenser Service Technician (DST) & Sales Representative offers a unique opportunity to blend technical expertise with dynamic sales responsibilities.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Technical Responsibilities
Install, maintain, and repair dispenser equipment at customer facilities to ensure seamless functionality.
Conduct plant evaluations to assess dispenser equipment needs, including electrical conduit, hose lengths, and dispenser placement.
Perform regular equipment maintenance, address breakdowns promptly, and maintain a stock of necessary parts for repairs.
Retrieve unused field equipment and refurbish reusable items.
Handle administrative tasks, including expense reports, DOT certifications, daily updates, and compliance documentation.
Transport materials safely as required, including admixtures, fibers, and other products for testing or delivery.
Assist in state inspections and ensure compliance with safety protocols.
Conduct preventative maintenance and provide hands-on assistance with field services, such as air checks and troubleshooting issues with dispensing systems.
Sales and Customer Relationship Responsibilities
Actively seek out and engage new and existing customer prospects, including construction distributors, contractors, specifiers, and property owners.

Job Description
We are seeking an entry-level Chemist I to join our laboratory chemical staff at our world-class Innovation Center of Excellence in Greensboro.
This person is responsible for procuring raw materials, compounding laboratory and customer samples, performing appropriate testing, and translating work into laboratory formulas and reports.
Main Responsibilities
Prepare lab samples and customer trial batches to compare the quality of the samples.
Manipulate new or existing formulations to obtain required properties through adjustment of raw materials or processing parameters that meet customer expectations and are commercially successful.
Maintain concise and accurate record keeping ensuring compliance with internal and external standards.
Provide technical assistance to internal departments and customers.

GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB: The WTI Field Resources Supervisor (Supervisor) is responsible for the timely delivery of services, profitability, and all employee management and training within their respective region.

Coordinate with the Field Resource Foreman (Foreman) for staffing and scheduling of all WTI Field Resources Reps (Field Reps) in their respective region to ensure proper utilization of manpower on specific jobs for the highest profitability.

Oversee the Quality Control (QC) process in conjunction with the Quality Control Specialist (QCS) of all the Field Reps in the region, which will include random site visits to current and previous job sites and proper documentation to ensure that all work was completed properly and that the customer is fully satisfied.
Ensure profitability within the region by monitoring and managing employee expenses for accuracy and abuse, use of overtime hours, and all full-time personnel's billable time to meet the required percentage.

Field all questions and concerns from the Field Reps and handle all discrepancies between the Field Reps and the Sales Reps.
Conduct and foster professional and timely communication (via email, text message, voicemail, or in person) with the customers, Sales Reps, field staff, and internal company personnel on all work-related matters.
Be the primary contact for the office personnel if there are any issues concerning a Field Rep.
Ensure all Field Reps will have a professional appearance and demeanor while completing services for a customer.

Minimum Qualifications

Education and Experience
Team Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including customer service, marketing, and operations, to ensure customer satisfaction and timely product delivery.
Bachelor's Degree required.
Minimum of 3 years of experience selling into complex sales environments, or at least 5 years of experience selling solutions with an average 90-180 day sales cycle.
Work with regional or national distributors is helpful.
Previous experience working local events and trade shows effectively to generate leads, initiate meaningful conversations, and build awareness of solutions.
Proven history of identifying and building strong relationships with prospects through a consultative and strategic approach.
Travel 30% - 45% required.
Prior MRO, Facilities Maintenance or Jan San channel experience preferred.

Skilled at engaging with C-level executives, operations leaders, and technical professionals.
Highly motivated, disciplined, and effective at balancing persistence with professionalism.
Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively in a performance-driven environment.
Knowledge of HubSpot is helpful.
Familiarity with a CRM is essential.
Skilled in in sales prospecting and sales presentations.
Skilled in weekly/monthly reporting of sales vs.
forecast.
Ability to work remotely and in person with end customers and distributor sales personnel.
Ability to travel to customers, trade events, and corporate headquarters as needed.
Ability to partner with business units across the organization.
Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.
Hiring Range
Between $86K - $105K annually
