GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
The Construction Management Associate is responsible for assisting the Construction Manager in all aspects associated with a construction-related project.
This will include but is not limited to, General Contracting projects, larger-scale Contracting Patch and Repair Projects, TremCares, etc.
This will involve working with the Construction Manager, Project Superintendent, or WTI Technician assigned to the project to ensure the project is effectively executed and completed safely and all contractual obligations are adhered to.
Additional duties will include participating in onsite meetings, scope of work development, proposal review, specification review, completion of project schedules, assembling project submittals, obtaining building permits, project closeout documents, and other duties as directed by the Construction Manager.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for contributing to and validating proposals and specifications.
Conceptual Phase (specification development, establishment of milestone dates) Program Planning Phase Design Phase Conduct Pre-Proposal Meetings Proposal Phase Construction Phase Conduct pre-construction Effective Close-out Cost Estimates and schedules Use of ebuilder for all project documentation per policy manual. Assist the Construction Manager in tracking project costs, budget variances, and profitability. Accountable for Quality Assurance. Ensure the subcontractor has submitted the required documents. Establish timelines and goals. Manage key metrics and report as required. Coordinate with Program Managers, Project Administrators, Project Estimators, Specification Writers, Sales Representatives, and RBM when needed. Assists Construction Manager in planning and coordinating the Pre-Construction Meeting. Engages with the Project Superintendent to provide necessary project information.
